A renovation and expansion of a residence in the Homeland neighborhood of Baltimore for a young family. Capturing a storage space allowed for a large pantry/mudroom off of the kitchen, and relocating the dining room and removing a wall opened up the space for more livability. The quartzite countertop and backsplash complement the warmer finishes and cabinet color in the kitchen. A disproportionately small primary bathroom was made much larger with ample storage and a soaking tub by borrowing a few square feet of an upstairs bedroom.
